Applesauce and Gardening!

We have had quite the week already! Yesterday the kids cut up apples from our field trip and we made applesauce in the crockpot. They tasted it this morning and here's what they had to say!

I also (finally) found the seeds I bought for the garden, hidden in one of my school bags. We braved the pouring rain and planted some spinach and radishes this morning, in hopes that they will come up for us to nibble a bit before it gets too cold! We have some others to plant in early spring like broccoli, lettuce, and kale. The kids were really excited and wished we had worn our puddle pants so we could have done some more puddle jumping while we were outside. Next time!!
