Happy Friday!

We had a great day today! We have a slightly different rhythm on Fridays and it's a nice change up to our routine.  Ms. S came in and reviewed many of Kelso's choices and how to decide if something is a small problem (try at least two of Kelso's choices before asking a grown up for help!) or a big problem (get help from a grown up right away!). We also went to tech lab where we have been working on a program called Typing Club, learning where the keys are on the keyboard.
At quiet time it appeared everyone was really enjoying some downtime after a long week! I couldn't resist snapping a picture!

This afternoon it was a real treat to have Carrie (Avery H's mom) come in and show us how to make hummus! The kids were very apprehensive but most of them tried many different types of hummus made with beets, carrots, or sweet potatos!

We also had a sledding party for our own classroom buzzy celebration. The snow was not very cooperative as it was quite sticky but the kids still had so much fun outside in the fresh snow!
