A Beautiful Week!

While we still had some rain, we lucked out with a beautiful spring day for Wilderness Wednesday. It feels like we waited forever for it to finally come. We were able to have morning meeting and snack outside again, and end the day with snack and read aloud outside. The kids loved getting back to the routine that we created in the fall, and they remembered and wanted to revisit greetings and stories.

Our chicks hatched this week and it was so exciting! We even got to watch one live (projected on the screen) which was amazing and made everyone smile ear to ear. Later in the week kids were able to hold a chick, which was incredibly sweet. I wasn't able to teach/help kids and take pictures but I wish I had been able to capture their sweet smiles! We ended our week with a "chick circle" with Mr. Deyo and Ms. Reads' classes where we got to observe and hold chicks again.
