Four Winds

Today in Four Winds the children learned all about how animals stay warm in winter. They saw how things that are insulated stay warm by wrapping warm containers of water and putting them outside. They stayed warm when they were wrapped up, and got cold if they weren't. They also looked for things animals might use to stay warm, and we even found a couple places where animals had dug themselves a place to burrow in the compost pile! When we came in they built homes and made tiny clay animals to put inside them.
