Family Traditions

Hello Families!
Please consider posting a "comment" below to tell us about a family tradition! It can be something simple about this time of year, or anything else! This is a great way for the kids to be more connected to the blog- you could post together and then we will get on as a class to read and talk about different traditions in different families.

Simply click on the "comments" link below, and type in your comment in the "Leave your comment" box. Then under "Choose an identity" click on Name/URL, and type your name. Lastly, click the orange box that says "Post your comment".

Thanks so much for your contributions!

  3. Some of Kassidy's family traditions are decorating the tree with mommy, using the Snowman Decorating a Tree to count down the days until Christmas, playing with the animals on the ship (a large wooden Noah's Ark advent calender that she prefers to use as a toy), using the Nutcracker to crack open and eat walnuts, having grandma over to open presents with us on Christmas morning, and going to Aunt Jessie's for Christmas Dinner.

  4. Some of Jasmine's family traditions are going with our family and her Grandma to cut down our Christmas trees. Then we bake Christmas cookies and watch a Christmas movie before decorating our tree. We also like going to the tree lighting ceremony in town together as a family to sing Christmas carols and watch the big tree get lit for the first time of the holiday season.
